CAN YOU GUESS??? #52: CORRECT ANSWER



This week, I don't congratulate any of the respondents. Pity!

The choice 'Sangria red' would make sense as most of the churches and chapels in Portugal normally display carpets of that colour. But all rules have exceptions and the chapel I was in on last saturday, had one of a very different colour...
 
 
The carpet colour matches the colour of the interior mosaic tiles, doesn't it? If it were red, it might be a very stark contrast...

    I named it simply blue just to make the guess easier but I would call it lavender blue.
