Because it looks a bit hazy, maybe caused by smoke.
Hmmm....he isn't using a particularly long lens...and he has a flash-unit set up....probably for fill-in....that would lead me to believe a fairly close subject. I'll say the pair of newlyweds.

ReplyDeleteMy first guess was, a man being hoisted aboard a boat. But then from the angle you took this picture, it seems whatever he was taking was close, otherwise you couldn't get it in the same photo. The only choice which could be someone close to the man is the newlyweds sharing a kiss. So that's my choice.
