Although I admit I am a shoe addict, I never wear stilettos. Have you ever noticed the mannerisms one's body tries to adopt in order to cope with high-heeled shoes?
So funny you should mention that, Belita. I just had a discussion on Care2 with someone about foot pain, back pains etc and related to high heels. I wear pumps , flat sandals, flat shoes, maybe a tiny tiny heel for pretty or simply bare feet. I would die wearing heels like that and you know, most girls look so silly walking in them too. I often have the giggles in shopping centres walking behind someone in expensive ridiculous fashion heels. Well done and interesting as per usual.
I've never used stilettos like that, and I know what you mean. I must admit, that some women handle it well and look gorgeous, though the shoes in fact are ridiculous.
I don't have first-hand experience of that kind of problem, but I have observed it, it can often look quite precarious!! How women who wear them don't get serious ankle injuries is a mystery to me!!
I never liked high heeled shoes, precisely because I cannot walk comfortably in them. Some of them I think look very attractive - on other women.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree, the higher the more ridiculous some people look wearing them,it is all about comfort for me...awesome post!
ReplyDeleteIf I were to wear that beautiful shoe in the photo I would end up with broken ankles, worse yet, 2 broken legs!!
ReplyDeleteHigh heels are like any other clothing item....awesome on some...hideous on others.
fabulous take on the prompt, Belita!

ReplyDeleteHere is MINE
Been there done that. In my teenage years it was stilettos and a very short tighter than tight skirt. That was a balacing act.
ReplyDeleteI remeber my university years , I had no problems wearing them but not any more :-))
ReplyDeleteAnyway Belita... high heels are sexy ;-)
