When it's hot like yesterday, I like taking a ferry boat and have sardines at a small restaurant on the other river bank, while I enjoy the scenic view of Lisbon. Not far from the restaurant, there is an improvised stall whose seller is the old woman pictured above. She sells fruit, vegetables, herbs and flowers. I never return back home, without visiting her and do some shopping.
Yesterday, as I met with her, I looked at her hands and saw something...
What was it?
1. A cactus in a small pot
2. An injured pigeon
3.A small pack of crackers
4. Blossoming violets in a pot
5. She was removing the outer leaves (wilted?) of a lettuce
6. Ice cubes in a plastic bag.
