DeleteDo you, Linda? I think it's one of the few dishes that I would never have even if served at a formal party. In Portugal, it's not common, unless you go to a very particular restaurant. We have peppers but they are charcoal grilled and stripes of them added to mixed salads.

ReplyDeleteYou, Bill, like Mitch, seem to know that potatoes are one of the stapple foods in Slovakia. For instance, we see potato dumplings with sheep's-milk cheese on sale at stalls either at markets or on the streets. Such dumplings are very salty. I gave a bite and it was enough...
