The green and red is the Portuguese flag, the other I have no idea at all....

Bill and Danette, please accept my little tokens of appreciation. This time, they are not flags but carp wind-socks that fly almost everywhere on May 5, in Japan, a national holiday. The carp streamers symbolize success in the future. Every year, on this day, if I happen to pass by the Japanese Embassy in Lisbon, that's located in my neighbourhood, I see carp wind-socks, the reason why I had a photo of them in my folders.

    Congratulations to Bill. The top flag is not Italian, because it has a symbol in the middle. It's hard to tell but it looks like the Mexican Flag...

      I think that if it were the Mexican flag, the red and green wouldn't be horizontal stripes but vertical..
