CAN YOU GUESS??? #123

Pls look at the small size pie. A little dough cutout has been placed on top of the pie.
The cutout shape - hidden by the cook's hat - is related to the animal the meat of which the pie filling tastes.

Would you like to try and guess which meat is the pie filling made of?

1. Duckling
2. Hare
3. Partridge
4. Chicken
5. Pheasant
6. Pork

  1. Pork isn't an animal, but I'm guessing hare.

    1. Hi Bill! Thanks, Bill, but I know well that pork is the name for pig meat while cow meat is called beef. At least I was taught like that. I intentionally listed up 'pork' and not 'pig', considering how the question is formulated ".... which meat is... ?" and not "... which animal is...?". As the the focus of the question is on the meat and not on the animal, it seemed to me that I should use pork instead of pig. I might be wrong...
      Have a nice day...
