HAVE A NICE FIRST WEEKEND OF MARCH...

Whenever I look at the above pictured chimneys - photo taken two weeks ago, near Lisbon -, they remind me of bird feeders. Does it make sense to you?

In Lisbon, we continue to have rainy days with wind and both the high and the low temperatures have been lower than the usual at this time of the year.
Our weather forecaster is reporting the first day of March to be the wettest day in the coming week...

~~ Whatever the weather is going to be like at your place, I wish you a wonderful first weekend of  March  ~~

  1. Hi Belita. These chimneys are indeed unique. I was amazed to read that the climate hasn't been moderate in Portugal. March in the States can be tempermental. We can have snow and moderate temperatures the following day. My daffodils are covered with snow. I hope you enjoy the weekend as well.

  2. That is interesting... the temperatures have been higher than the usual at this time of the year...In many places you can find a flowers... but the weather forecast for March is not so good...Maybe we used the warm weather from your country....

  3. Yes, Belita.......I can see why you they remind you of bird-feeders :-))

Your weather sounds very similar to mine. This is officially the wettest winter on record now. We have had torrential rain and gale-force winds at least twice in every week since late November. The forecast for the first weekend of March is looking hopeful....we might actually get two rain-free days!!! Have a wonderful weekend whatever you are doing.
