Yes, you haven't misread the last words, above. I regret to inform you that, following serious consideration lately to whether or not I wanted to continue with our weekly FUN, I decided not to keep it going.
As you have probably noticed, the number of 'players' regularly taking part has been falling over week after week to the point that I realized that it's not worth my effort. I really had fun - perhaps more than you had, - but everything comes to an end sooner or later. The end of CAN YOU GUESS??? has come this week.
I want to thank all of you for your more or less regularity, without which CAN YOU GUESS??? would not have ever reached three years of existence. Many many thanks!

Oh no. I am so sorry to see this Belita. I bet it is because everyone is so into Facebook which I don't like all that much. These post have always been so much fun I am going to miss them. :-(((

ReplyDeleteI'm really sad to see CYG come to an end, I've enjoyed playing every week except when I've been away on vacation (or you have). I can understand why you feel it's time to end it though. I have had similar thoughts about Picture This in recent times. Although there are still just enough members to keep it going, if any more drop out I'll have to seriously consider if I can continue with it.
I know, Mitch, you can understand my feeling very well. Reading your words is a great reward for my efforts... Good luck to Picture This which I really hope it will continue to give me fun for many many weeks to come....
