This Christmas and for the first time, Lisbon has a X'mas market and other entertainments for children and adults, too. The above square is currently hosting a multimedia show that symbolises the Christmas spirit through a fantastic story experienced by a group of children surprised by the personification of the "Christmas Wish". It challenges them to make universal truths such as Love, Happiness, Friendship and Peace, turn into a reality.
This evening I have made my Christmas wish...

There are several stalls selling food, accessories and Christmas gifts....
Children have a chance to enjoy themselves either by ice skating, having a ride on a train to the 'North Pole' station, going on a merry-go round or taking a photo together with Santa.
~~ Have a wonderful weekend ~~
~~ Thanks for stopping by ~~

I have been missing you Belita. Beautiful photos and joy to all. Huggles.
ReplyDeleteSo sweet of you... You know, Shayna, not always are we in mood to post. For some unknown reason, recently I've not been very much interested in using computer other than checking my mailbox. Thanks so very much for your visit and words...
DeleteWow, I really love the shots of the lightshow projected onto the building!! I'd love to have seen it in person!! Looks like it was a wonderful event.
ReplyDeleteYou are always so kind, Mitch! In fact, it was really nice, I think the beauty of the square helped a lot in getting a good effect. If I've time, I'll go there again, as it will last until this 26.While I was over there, I felt like a child... suddenly I forgot my age...it was a good feeling, indeed!
