Our good friend Shayna as she dropped her comment on the latest post, she mentioned how she would love to see the Belem Tower when the tide was full. I'm pleased to satisfy her curiosity, although, unfortunately, the weather conditions were not the same, which doesn't enable an ideal comparison.
Then you can compare with the photo posted in the previous post...

It is really beautiful with the tide in. I would love to be able to explore inside it.
ReplyDeleteThank you very much Belita for going to the trouble of taking the extra photos. They are as usual great shots.
Hope you are well and rested from your latest travels. I know you were very tired.

Hi Shayna! You know inside, we don't see anything very special. The rooms are often used for different events such as the launch of a new product, a new book, etc. However, the view from it, is really nice. You have the illusion you are sailing...
DeleteI think the dark clouds in the first photo add an element of drama to the shot!!
ReplyDeleteI think so, Mitch....
DeleteIt is very interestin to see the Belem Tower when the tide was full.... like "Le Mont St. Michel " those days...Fantastic shots...
ReplyDeleteHi Viera! I had never thought of it but I agree with you... nice comparison!
