FROM PARIS WITH LOVE 3/3

Upon returning to Portugal, I look back at my days spent in Paris and I would say that Paris, probably like many other cities, has been strongly affected and still is by the Covid pandemic. Not many people on the streets, tourists are scarce and I dare saying that the city has lost a bit of its characteristic charm, somehow. However, the cultural landscape seems to be more or less the same as before and everywhere we see outdoors announcing events to be held until the end of the current year as well as in 2022. Bus stops are provided with hand cleaning gel dispensers. Smoking seems to have been a past habit, owing to - I presume - the high price of one pack (€10.0). The department store La Samaritaine that was reopened earlier this year, after several years of remodelling works is a must visit for the indoors ornaments.

OTHERS: LAFAYETTE

The Flea Market not so interesting as before.

UNIQLO - THE JAPANESE DEPARTMENT STORE

SHOPPING CENTER AT LA DEFENSE

Streets, metro corridors and platforms were nicely cleaned and no masks disposed on the pavements. In general, people, either young or not so, were very kind and they offered their seats on the metro. Perhaps because of my old aged look... Much more could be added but I don't want to bother anyone who stops by...

Many thanks to whoever has joined  me.
