Sitting on the edge of a cliff
Above the sea, she is missing
The rose-colored glasses
She used to see with…
Now that they are lost forever,
Everything is clearer and darker.
Where is the world
She had always seen beauty in?

Perhaps she needs to seek that beauty in a new way.

ReplyDeleteThat is very well done Belita. I love the way you have done the lighting.
ReplyDeleteStrangely enough the words you have written reflect my mood this afternoon.
Love how the words match the photo ~smile~ ... I guess we all reach that point at some time or other ... hopefully she realises that things do get better!
ReplyDeleteI like the "aura" around your figure.Being a 100% realist, I lost my rose coloured glasses a long while ago. Looks like your figure did as well, nice words.
ReplyDeleteSuch a wonderful capture and poignant words, like Pat, I lost my rose-coloured glasses a while ago, but can still remember how pretty the world looked through them.
ReplyDeleteNice, Belita !!
