Dear Milli, I sincerely hope this cake - all you see below is edible - will compensate you for my mistake...
I took the above photo at a cake show, in Lisbon. The patterns are typical of the north region of Portugal, where people bustle with colour, from head to toe, embellished with hearts of gold earrings. Their embroideries, pottery and other handcrafts always display a combination of blue and white or blue and red colours. That small heart-shaped box is normally used to keep small jewelry items.
PS: I sincerely hope such a mistake will not happen again.
