Hosiery, jumpers and bed linen
Swaying in the breeze,
Sunlight glowing
Through their fibres
Saving Energy and Money,
Saving the Planet...
The tumble drier had been switched off!

This is charming at the same time so practical. :)
ReplyDeleteMore people should do this, think how much energy we would save!
ReplyDeleteA fun and practical entry ;)
I wish I could do that Belita. No room at all for a clothes line though I'm afraid.
ReplyDeleteNothing beats the smell of freshly dried laundry. Love your entry ~smile~
ReplyDeleteA very eco-friendly ~Sway~ !! Would prefer that method here, too, if it ever stops raining!!!

This strikes a cord with me, Belita!
ReplyDeleteUntil a year and a half ago, I line dried EVERYTHING and enjoyed every minute of the chore. Unfortunately it got too difficult due to bad knees so I had to buy a clothes dryer. How I mess the fresh air and gathering up the wash that was kissed by the sun and smelled like nothing you've ever smelled before.
Thanks for the memories....wonderful trip back in time!
hugs, Linda
Uhmmm... but this can't be done today: here's snowing :)))
