WORD FIX AT 56 #35

William, a solitary man, lived in a small village on the coast of Ireland.
One night, as he was feeling  lonesome,
William stepped out of his cocoon to gaze up at the sky.
He eagerly wanted to make a wish on either a shooting star or a red bird.
Only seagulls were flying over the ocean...

  1. I am sure William had enjoyed that piece of solitude.

  2. I wonder if his wish would have been for drier weather? Very nicely written, Belita.

  3. Hmmmmmm I read so much into these few words. I see a man who is most likely a recluse....and unhappy......perhaps lost his mate years ago. He struggles for answers and wishes to join her! He wasn't granted a falling star or a redbird....it wasn't time!!

This was very good, Belita...thanks for joining us this week!
