Very good photo, Belita. We have something similar in the UK, where homeless people become vendors for a magazine called 'The Big Issue', who in turn help the homeless by not only paying them for selling the magazine but also helps to find them accommodation and health support. .
Thanks, Mitch! I took that picture while in Bratislava and I understood that magazine was someting like your 'Big Issue' or ours called 'Cais' (Pier, in English).
A very poignant photo. I can't begin to imagine the life of the homeless. Home is our haven, our security, our foundation....how does one live without those things?
The tone you choose says a lot for this corner of life stage.
ReplyDeleteI edited it with that purpose in view...
DeleteHe is trying...very touching photo!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Danette! I always like to see homeless people trying to do something that is good to themselves.

DeleteWhat I see is"Standing on the corner watching all the girls go by" seems happier than being homeless. I like, this one says a lot.
ReplyDeleteHe might be watching the girld walking by but I have serious doubts, the girls would notice him...
DeleteMost interesting shot. May he find a home soon!
