If you are interested in biodiversity and conservation this is for you....
This is an international short documentary (narrated in English) related to the adaptation of wildlife to large cities. Lisbon has been chosen as a good example of it. My opinion may not be very objective but I find this documentary interesting, with a good detail and it's well produced. It highlights Lisbon parks and their biodiversity as well as the activity developed by Lisbon's Wildlife Recovery Center. Enjoy!
~~ Have a nice weekend ~~
I will come back and view this sometime during the weekend, as this is a subject that interests me.
ReplyDeleteWould you believe if I add that I posted it thinking of your interest in such subject..
ReplyDeleteI'll be up in the north for the weekend but will return back on sunday in the evening... This means, I'll post my PT contributions with some delay...
I came back to watch the vid today. Very interesting!! I think it's wonderful that they have created an 'urban forest' and also started a wildlife rescue preserve!! You have such a fantastic diversity of all things 'nature' there.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Mitch, for having come back and watch the documentary. You know, my residential area is along the borderline of that forest that is commonly called Lisbon's lungs. It's crossed by several roadways and a favourite forest to Lisbon residents for the diversity of sport facilities it has.
