Every Sunday, when I go to my work and it's not raining I always park my car somewhere a bit far away from my destination, and I walk along the riverside for one hour long.
Last Sunday, the weather was exceptionally fine.
As I looked at the birds - seagulls and the other birds are migratory and I don't know how they are called - I thought how they seemed to be enjoying sun bathing....
If the weather at your place isn't fine in the weekend, I hope the picture above gives you some warmth...
~~ May you spend the first weekend of 2014 in an enjoyable way ~~

Hi Belita!! I am still recovering from my illness, so will not be going anywhere this weekend. Although, there are due to be rainstorms most of the weekend, so even if I were fit, I would not be going anywhere!!
ReplyDeleteI really like your photo of the birds. The two gulls in the middle appear to be in a conversation, while the two nearer the camera seem to have seen something interesting in the water !!
Hi Mitch! Sometimes, we have to be patient and take good care of ourselves until we get fully recovered. I know this easy to say but not so when it comes to put it into practice. However, I wish you get well soon. Today, we have no sunshine. It's a foggy day which I like. It reminds me of my childhood in Oporto where fog is very common in winter. I like your interpretation of the photo. Thanks for the visit and comment. Take care, Mitch!
DeleteThe lighting in your photo does reminds me of that warm bright sunshine.
ReplyDeleteHere is -23°C today, with lots of snow. :)
Hardly can I figure out how cold -23C must be... Although I don't like very low temperatures, the snowscapes are fascinating....
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you don't miss capturing them,Sophie!
and this is a longer weekend at least in our country we have on Monday a bank holiday... Enjoy the sun...
ReplyDeleteLucky you, Viera! I presume the holiday is related to The Three Kings Day, which we do not celebrate here in Portugal, but in Spain it's the day when people exchange presents, the reason why it's a national holiday. Sunny days are over, at least for a while. Since the first days of the week, we have been having rain, wind and low temperatures... well, it's wintertime... Enjoy your holiday!
