You are so sweet, Viera! Those days spent down in the Algarve were excellent, yet a bit cold early in the morning and late in the evening. That photo was taken from a new boardwalk that I hadn't seen before. As I was taking the photo, I thought of Japan, where there are similar structures called 'torii' at the entrances or within Shinto shrines. They mark the transition from the profane to the sacred 'world'. Thanks for the visit, Viera!
