The picture below shows the scenery I had before my eyes as I opened the window of my bedroom on one morning and I looked in the direction of the river. The temperature outside was 6ºC (42.8ºF)...
I wouldn't exaggerate if I wrote that the mornings over the first week of hiking were always characterised by dense fog that made the trails through the forests being like wrapped in a mysterious robe...
After a few hours of hiking, the sun started to break through the fog...beautiful!
The sun burning through the morning fog
Early in the afternoon, the sun was shining in a bright blue sky..
There were creatures on the Way that I had to make sure that I didn't step on one like the large black slug that slithered across the trail...
There were so many beautiful things to look at each day.
I don't remember to have ever seen a cat of these colours with a dark tail
Two of the few captures of our bird friends
For my first time in Spain, I spent an overnight at a manor house. Since manor houses are located not near the trails, staff picked me up from the trail and left me back to the same spot on the next morning. The building was old and full of character. However, there was a splash of unexpected luxury in a very rural setting. It was a bit isolated, but that added to the charm of the overall atmosphere in the house.

DeleteReally nice pictures, not just the quality but the focus and selection of images itself. It would be a very, very exciting experience walk through those places.

DeleteHi Belita!! I have very much enjoyed accompanying you on this leg of your journey. I love the very atmospheric scenes shrouded in the autumn mist. I really liked the selection of flowers and animals, most particularly the little robin singing for all he's worth. The manor house looked very nice, a place to relax and unwind after a day's hiking.
