HAVE A NICE WEEKEND....

There are many people who, like me, still skip out modern entertainment just to go watch the sunset, at one of the favorite spots for Lisbon locals and foreign tourists.  It takes me some 45 minutes of walk from my apartment. I love soft winter light. It's incredibly calm and soothing...

HAVE A NICE WEEKEND....

    Photo taken at Lisbon outskirts

Yesterday, I decided to anticipate my weekend. I had lunch at a restaurant by a pond. After lunch, I went for a long walk through a forest area. Late in the afternoon, as I returned back home, my body thanked me and so did my head. It's now clear so I can focus on all the work that lies ahead.

No matter how busy you are these days, may the weekend bring you some time to rest your eyes on something pretty, rather than everything that reminds you of how busy you are...

HAVE A NICE WEEKEND....

Marble from Portugal is historical as it's one of the most used stones in construction. The main reason for marbles use in Portuguese monuments and sculpture works  is the simplicity to polish and work the stone, whereas other stones much harder and resistant are more complicated to craft.
Geographically, Portuguese marbles can be found in the central and southern part of Portugal. However, near Lisbon, where I took the above photo, there is also a traditional spot, at which you can find a wide range of colours of marble, from beige and grey to red and yellow.
